Position Overview

In Product Data, we create tools and services that unlock our customers design-and-make data, allowing it to flow seamlessly between Autodesk applications and providing secure access from anywhere, at any time. Our work enables true collaboration across the disciplines and industries that shape our world, empowering customers to achieve more, with sustainable impact, and creating opportunities for improvement through insight and automation.

Product Data teams work on various systems, initiatives, and product enhancements to meet a specific range of customer needs, including data granularity, application interoperability, and data accessibility. All of this is supported by resilient foundational services that make it possible.

For this position, we are seeking someone to enhance developer productivity by leveraging Generative AI/ML. Your work will focus on accelerating the team's daily tasks and solving challenges efficiently. This will help streamline customer workflows and ensure high resilience built on foundational services.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and identify various data pipelines and sources in day-to-day operations
  • Review complex datasets and assemble data that meet the productivity tooling requirements
  • Build infrastructure and pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources using SQL and AWS technologies
  • Develop contextual models using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for use with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Be prepared to take on multiple roles, including those of a Software Developer, Quality Assurance Engineer, and DevOps Engineer
  • Collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to software design by leveraging cloud design patterns and building cloud expertise
  • Improve processes and deliverables to enhance the team's effectiveness and efficiency in meeting customer and business needs
  • Accurately and thoroughly document and present your ideas and solutions
  • Experience Agile methodologies in daily work and processes.
  • Gain exposure to AI/ML technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Learn about cloud-based software architecture and technologies, becoming familiar with concepts such as continuous integration, service health, and more
  • Acquire hands-on experience with the aforementioned technologies
  • Enhance problem-solving and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field
  • You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, graduating in 2025 or 2026
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub
  • Familiarity with REST API standards and RESTful web services
  • Strong programming skills (any language)
  • Internship period: January - June 2025

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex systems
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fluid environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Exposure to cloud services, particularly the AWS platform, is highly desirable
  • Exposure to Generative AI/ML is a significant plus
