Project Description: Virtual Wafer Fab Cleanroom Navigator

Job Scope: We are seeking creative and technically skilled interns to join our team in creating a new innovation which will allow Micron team members to virtually navigate and view different areas of Micron Wafer Fab Cleanroom. This solution is akin to Google street view, providing a seamless and immersive experience to view the wafer fab cleanroom without the need for physical presence resulting in productivity gains by reducing the need for frequent onsite assessments. Implementation wise, this project is potentially able to leverage on existing applications such as by installing additional image/video capture hardware on existing Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) or Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) that is already in operation inside the wafer fab, which is currently used for point-to-point material delivery.

Deliverable: Working prototype that can capture 360 degree images at different points of the wafer fab cleanroom basic GUI (preferably web-based) and database structure to store images ability to refresh the images minimally on a daily cadence.

What's on the table: 1) Hands-on experience in implementing new innovations within high tech/advanced manufacturing production operations setting, 2) Mentorship from experienced Layout Planning team members, 3) Opportunity to contribute to a project with real and significant productivity gains
