Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with business owners and perform walkthroughs of systems or processes to identify key controls
- Plan and execute audit procedures for internal controls in a clear and efficient manner
- Test controls and ensure compliance with established best practices, policies, and procedures
- Engage in closing meetings with management to discuss findings for each assignment
- Prepare concise audit reports, highlighting root causes of identified issues and the associated risks
- Provide high-quality recommendations to address control weaknesses and enhance the control environment
- Develop and integrate data analytics into the audit process for enhanced testing and monitoring solutions
- Assist Group Internal Audit in the timely execution of the audit plan, including special reviews, investigations, and implementation assessments, along with other assigned tasks
- Conduct follow-up audits to verify the implementation of recommendations and assess the resulting improvements
- Foster a collaborative environment to share knowledge and promote best practices
To succeed and excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant audit experience, either in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm, or within internal audit, assurance, compliance, or in-house functions in related industries
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business, IT (Information Systems), or an equivalent field
- Willingness to travel regionally for business, covering about 25% of the year (up to 3 weeks at a time)
- Some experience with data analytics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
