We are representing our client in the global technology and engineering space to look for an experienced Sales & Soluions Engineer to complement the existing international business, based in Jurong East.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer demands, challenges, and objectives through assessments, information gathering and Customers, technology/industrial engagements
- Collaboration with sales & business development, product & engineering stakeholders including analyse and selection of appropriate hardware, software, and services to create the winning solution offering to customer and markets
- Developing detailed proposals, presentations, and technical documentation that outline the proposed solutions, including features, benefits, and pricing. Presenting these proposals to customers in a clear and compelling manner
- Preparation and conduct of product and solution exhibitions, demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities to showcase the capabilities and address any technical questions or concerns from customers
- Providing technical expertise and support to business development & sales team throughout the sales cycle, including participating in customer meetings, responding to technical queries, and contributing to the development of sales strategies
- Building and maintaining relationships with technology vendors and partners to stay informed about the latest products, technologies, and industry trends. This includes evaluating new solutions and incorporating them into proposed designs
- Keeping up-to-date with advancements in communication technologies, industry standards, and best practices. Pursuing opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in Communications/Telecommunications/Infosystems Solutions Engineering and Implementations, supporting as a Pre-Sales capacity
- Strong understanding of communications technology
- Able to follow up closely with customers in order to answer to their needs
