International Growth Practice
The International Growth Practice (IGP) is a dedicated team of experts which support companies in achieving their Growth Markets entry and expansion ambitions. The team is based in Singapore but operates globally, collaborating with the rest of PwC's global network to support clients navigate strategic and operational issues which are specific to these complex new markets.
- Gain unique insight global Growth Markets beyond South East Asia
- Develop deep Growth Markets knowledge and insights
- Gain wide exposure to both Growth and Developed Markets through participating in a number of international client events and road shows
- Build a strong international network across both clients and PwC
- Developed and strengthen valuable skills thought leadership from a wealth of experience PwC SMEs
- Expand and develop how to manage key stakeholders across territories.
- After 2+ years, gain exposure to wider career opportunities within PwC in Singapore and certainly in other geographies.
- Progression through the firm to Senior Manager will be in line with PwC's performance criteria and the success of the IGP, but the IGP's global exposure and the senior leadership visibility will present attractive global career prospects
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a Professional services / Management Consultancy (not Technology Consulting) or industry (Retail, Consumer, Manufacturing, Automotive, Healthcare, Infrastructure)
- Experience and keen interest of working in or with both Developed and Growth Markets clients
- Experience in Management Consulting, (Strategy, Customer, Operations, Deals). Identifying client issues, shaping strategies and execution plans to help client growth in Growth Markets.
- Experience of managing Consulting projects, ideally within market entry or expansion
- Financial analysis and analytical modelling
- Ability to develop insightful statements and support client discussions with data analysis
- An ability to deliver across cultures and understand and accommodate different cultural nuances
- Useful to have additional skills in:
- Data analysis to identify consumer and market trends
- Mining publically available client information to identify potential new opportunities.
