Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Engineering discipline with a focus in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or Chemistry
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Internship period: January to June 2025

What will you do
To support in executing lean lab identified projects (lab rejuvenation, micro lab standard work, reduced testing, online testing program etc) to achieve productivity gain.
To deploy GPS 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) standard for the whole lab and obtained 5S certification for 1 identified zone.
To review and revamp Lab Safety Program including safety GEMBA requirement, RA program, new chemical introduction standard work. And with governance and performance management.
What will you learn
Lean Lab Initiatives - removal of waste, process flow review and application of online application in order to gain lab productivity and efficiency.
5S/Zoning roll up in the lab and establish standard work to obtain GPS Maturity.
Establish robust Lab Safety Program and Governance to be aligned to SLE expectations.
