DESIGNATION : Internship student (Business Development)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lau Pa Sat - Singapore's most iconic hawker market that epitomises the heart and soul of Singapore's rich cultural heritage and only food paradise under a gazetted monument. As the business development intern of this destination, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping it into a much-loved food paradise for locals and tourists alike.
You will also liaise to bring to life the unique Lau Pa Sat (this includes the famous Satay Street and Food Folks @ Lau Pa Sat, an incubation space for local retail brands such as Fossa Chocolate, Little Drom Store, Irvins and many more) experience via corporate events, tours and other strategic partnerships. Job scope: We promise a rewarding internship with lots of growth and fun!
You will support the LPS Destination marketing & operations team in conceptualizing, planning and executing business development campaigns, events to drive footfall and revenue, and brand awareness for LPS
You will be part of the end-to-end planning, implementation of the marketing calendar with the corporate marketing, destination operations, external brand partners, event agencies.
You will work with agencies/in-house design team to conceptualize and develop impactful campaign collaterals & assets, including adaptations for social media, digital, on-site BTL POSM, merchandise.
You will manage and update the website and owned social media channels with content planning and copywriting
You will track performances/results of marketing campaigns; including collation of results from point-of-sale, stakeholders, research & other data sources.
You will assist with day-to-day business development and administrative matters. including coordination with vendors, agencies and internal stakeholders (business entities and corporate functions) to facilitate any marketing activities for localised marketing, filming, photography, Public Relations.
You will do business development with corporate sales and sponsorships where needed
You will handle Media Monetisation execution of LPS/Kopitiam media spaces
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills required
Students/undergraduates from Polytechnic or any of the recognised universities
Proficient in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office applications
Meticulous and process-driven, with excellent time management skills.
Possess the drive for excellence and self-motivation to work independently in a fast-paced and highly dynamic F&B and retail environment
Collaborative team player
Good interpersonal & communication skills with strong written English and/or Chinese skills
Experience in web and/or design software will be advantageous e.g. HTML and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing is a bonus
