Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee and control inventory levels to align with business needs while reducing excess stock.
- Stock Audits: Perform regular audits of inventory and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Data Analysis: Evaluate inventory data to spot trends, forecast requirements, and deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- Order Processing: Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure prompt restocking and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Reporting: Create and present inventory reports to management, emphasizing key metrics and performance indicators.
- System Maintenance: Keep accurate records in inventory management systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaboration: Partner with warehouse staff to enhance operations and boost efficiency.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements regarding inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
