Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet business demands while minimizing excess stock.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Order Processing: Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Reporting: Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- System Maintenance: Maintain accurate records in inventory management systems and ensure data integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
