My client is a prominent US headquartered asset manager with approximately $250 billion in assets under management (AUM), specializing in exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
They are seeking highly motivated, competitive self-starters to join their sales team in the Singapore office. This role offers an unique opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment under the guidance of a seasoned Sales Leader. Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and reaching out to prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and social platforms to establish relationships and secure meetings for your external partner. A minimum number of outbound sales calls is expected daily.
- Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships through follow-up calls and regular communication.
- Ensuring that all client interactions, meetings, and call notes are accurately recorded in the CRM system, with up-to-date client data.
- Building trust with clients through ongoing communications, leveraging company resources such as market commentaries, webinars, and presentations.
- Responding to inbound client inquiries, including portfolio analysis and fund comparisons.
- Driving client attendance to company-hosted events, lunches, and dinners, and attending them as needed.
- Staying informed on market news and industry trends to enhance client conversations.
- Developing a deep understanding of the company's full product range including ETFs, Unit Trusts, Mutual Funds, Structured Investments etc
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of financial/investment products
- A strong desire to learn and grow your financial expertise.
- Proven success in sales or a competitive environment (could be in sports, business, etc.).
- Ability to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders in the North Asia region.
- Confidence in speaking with clients via phone, video conference, and in person.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Resilience and the ability to handle setbacks and rejection with determination
- Strong organizational skills to manage a pipeline of prospects and opportunities efficiently.
- Familiarity with tools such as Sales Navigator for lead generation is a plus.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently without constant oversight.
