Investment Operations Associate
Our client, a global fund management company is looking for Investment Operations Associate to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and monitor trade settlements across multiple asset classes, ensuring timely execution and resolving any settlement discrepancies.
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations between internal systems, custodians, and counterparties to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Track, process, and manage corporate actions, dividends, and income events, ensuring timely and accurate processing in collaboration with custodians.
- Monitor daily cash balances, project cash flows, and assist with liquidity management to support investment activities.
- Maintain data integrity in portfolio management systems, and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports for portfolio managers and clients.
- Collaborate with compliance to adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, and identify operational risks within processes to enhance controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years in investment operations, trade support, or fund administration within asset management or financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with portfolio management software (e.g., Bloomberg, Charles River, or Aladdin). Knowledge of VBA or SQL is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial products (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives) and capital market operations.
