Investment Portfolio Management (IPM) Specialist
This role for Aramco Asia Singapore (AAS) focuses on transaction and portfolio management within the Oil and Gas supply chain and Energy Transition sectors. This Singapore-based role is integral to Aramco's regional investment strategy, encompassing Asia-Pacific transaction evaluations and supporting investment performance oversight across AAS's diverse portfolio.

Overview
The incumbents will report to the IPM Director and play a pivotal role in identifying and executing strategic investment opportunities. Key responsibilities will include conducting market assessments, developing business cases, supporting transaction structuring, and overseeing integration for new acquisitions.
Additionally, this role requires strong portfolio management capabilities to optimize investments and enhance governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Transaction Support:
- Support in pre-transaction assessments activities, including market screening, business case and feasibility analyses, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide transaction support through due diligence support/review, handle transaction structuring, perform valuation analysis, and oversee risk registers.
- Facilitate transaction finalization by managing definitive agreements, monitoring conditions precedents, and preparing capitalization for acquisitions.
- Execute post-transaction plans, focusing on both short-term and long-term integration to optimize investment returns.
Portfolio Management:
- Track investment performance, focusing on commercial, financial, sustainability, and fair value reporting. Support in setting up IPM reporting cadences.
- Support portfolio optimization by monitoring strategic acquisitions, conducting capital management, and overseeing allocation activities.
- Act as a liaison between head office counterparts and investment or joint venture management teams to maintain consistent communications and ensure alignment with AAS's objectives.
Governance & Quality Excellence:
- Assist in developing and refining investment policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Promote standardization, quality assurance, and risk management for AAS's investment assets, ensuring that governance standards are consistently applied.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the IPM Director on ad hoc projects or assignments as needed.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on relevant investment topics, research, or project updates, providing insights to the IPM Director and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 10 years in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or Big Four firms, with a focus on strategy, M&A, corporate finance, and accounting.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully facilitate and managed complex transactions from initiation to completion stage preferably in the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical/Energy Transition/ Infrastructures space
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related fields like engineering, economics, mathematics, or law. Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CA, CVA, or CFM) are preferred.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including financial statement analysis, detailed financial modeling, and transaction structuring.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, demonstrating a proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written English proficiency; additional language skills in Chinese, Bahasa, or Arabic are advantageous.
Location & Travel
Based in Singapore, this role offers flexibility for short-term assignments and business travel across the Asia-Pacific region, based on business requirements.
