Job Description

We seek a dynamic Investor Relations Associate to join a fast-paced, high-growth environment. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing relationships with investors and supporting strategic fundraising initiatives, capital formation efforts, and investor relation coverage for the firm's core strategies. This role is perfect for a professional with a passion for finance, business development, and storytelling who thrives on building meaningful connections and driving impactful communication strategies in a results-oriented industry.

You will be responsible for:

  • Investor communication and engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with current and potential investors ( including private wealth managers, family offices, and institutional investors), positioning the firm as a trusted and dynamic partner while effectively communicating key updates and opportunities.
  • Fundraising and business development support: Drive the origination and prospecting of new limited partner relationships and partner with the leadership team to identify, engage, and onboard new investors, support the creation of compelling pitch materials, and drive strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strategic networking: Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, fostering connections that expand the firm's visibility and investor base.
  • Event and engagement planning: Design and execute high-impact investor events, such as roadshows and annual meetings, that showcase the firm's achievements and growth opportunities.
  • Compliance and growth enablement: Ensure investor communications adhere to regulatory standards while leveraging feedback and market insights to refine strategies and unlock business development opportunities.
  • Portfolio and market insights: Analyse and understand portfolio performance and emerging market trends, crafting insights highlighting the firm's growth potential and value creation to existing and prospective investors.

To succeed in this role, you should bring the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced institutional sales role with a preference for individuals with a track record in raising capital.
  • You have relevant wholesale/family office and institutional relationships (which are preferably in APAC).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities to juggle multiple priorities, deliver on tight deadlines, and ensure seamless coordination of communication and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to craft compelling narratives, deliver impactful presentations, and foster meaningful relationships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Curious and passionate about the start-up and technology ecosystem with the want and ability to integrate with the technology and start-up community in the broader Asia Pacific region.
  • Experience in a smaller or start-up environment where you can point to examples of setting up initial systems and processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive attitude, openness to feedback, and eagerness to take on new challenges.
