IoT Project Manager

Job Summary:

The IoT Project Delivery Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of end-to-end IoT solutions, ensuring all project phases meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and client communication expertise. The ideal candidate will coordinate between internal teams and external clients, facilitating smooth implementation from project kickoff through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

o Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IoT projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.

o Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and timelines.

o Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

2. Client and Stakeholder Coordination:

o Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication of project status, challenges, and deliverables.

o Manage stakeholder expectations and handle any escalations promptly and professionally.

3. Technical Oversight:

o Work closely with IoT engineers, software developers, and other technical teams to ensure solutions align with project requirements.

o Review and approve technical designs and system integrations, addressing any technical concerns that may arise.

4. Resource Management:

o Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.

o Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, operations, QA) to support smooth project execution.

5. Documentation and Compliance:

o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, technical specs, and client communication records.

o Ensure project delivery complies with relevant regulations, data privacy standards, and security protocols.

6. Continuous Improvement:

o Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

o Implement best practices and lessons learned to improve future project delivery and processes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Strong understanding of IoT architecture, protocols, and device integration.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

Knowledge of IoT platforms, sensors, connectivity protocols, and cloud services
