Support and Troubleshooting:
- Networking : Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Servers : Administer and support server systems such as Windows Server.
- IT Related Tasks : Provide technical and help desk support to end-users regarding IT related issues including hardware, software (such as MS 365 applications, Salesforce, any SaaS (Software as s service)) and network-related issues (such Windows systems, firewall configurations)
- On-boarding and Off-boarding : Manage user accounts and access permissions for new hires and departing employees.
- CCTV : Oversee and maintain CCTV systems for security monitoring.
Backup, Data Protection, and Cyber Security:
- Backup Solutions: Implement and manage backup strategies to ensure data protection and disaster recovery.
- Cyber Security: Monitor and mitigate cybersecurity risks, including implementing security measures like firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO): Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and develop policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
Administration of 3rd Party Applications/Programs:
- Third-Party Applications: Administer and support applications such as MS Office (email, OneDrive), Salesforce, XERO, Squarespace, Cloudflare, and Payment Gateways, including user management, troubleshooting, and integration with internal systems.
Procurement:
- Hardware and Software : Coordinate the procurement and replacement of IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, and software licenses.
- Renewals : Manage the renewal process for software licenses and subscriptions to ensure uninterrupted access to essential tools and services.
Project Management:
- Technology Adoption: Leverage new technologies and digital solutions that streamline work processes, and improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
- Implementation: Assist in planning and overseeing the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they meet the organisation's objectives within budget and timeline constraints.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Training: Coordinate training sessions or materials to educate employees on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share technical knowledge and expertise with colleagues to enhance overall IT competency within the organisation.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of IT systems, policy and procedures, configurations, and user guides.
- Reporting: Generate reports on IT infrastructure performance, security incidents, and support tickets for management review
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent
- Good understanding of computer networks
- Minimum 2 years working experience in end-user desktop, networking, server, hardware, and software support.
- Familiar with all Microsoft products: Windows O/S, Office, Active Directory & Terminal Server, firewall/ routers.
- Ability to troubleshoot network, hardware, and software problems.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Knowledge and experience in using MS Power BI and Salesforce are added advantages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
