We are seeking a skilled IT Application Support Analyst to join our consultancy team. This role requires expertise in supporting application deployments, troubleshooting technical issues using SQL, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Deployment and Support
- Assist in the deployment of enterprise-level applications, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using SQL queries and other diagnostic tools.
Business Process Evaluation
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Document findings and communicate them effectively to relevant teams.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Conduct UAT to validate applications meet quality and functional specifications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with stakeholders to gather critical insights and produce clear, actionable reports.
Project Coordination
- Support project management tasks, including developing plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in IT application support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting application issues using SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
- Experience in user acceptance testing and application deployment.
- Familiarity with project management practices is an advantage.
