Job Summary:
The IT Application team is looking for an Oracle e-Business Suite Support Consultant with Finance expertise, to play a key role in supporting, designing, implementing, and managing the Finance applications.
Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, configuration of standard applications, gap analysis, functional design of application extensions, and end user support for multiple modules, across geographies, to support the business operations.
Key Job Responsiblities and Duties:
Responsible for maintaining and supporting (level 2 & 3) the Oracle EBS (
- 1.3) Finance modules and in supporting business transactions.
Strong experience in the Oracle modules; Finance, Order Management, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Quoting, and related Boundary tools
Duties include user support, application maintenance, reporting and troubleshooting of functional issues and transactions.
Assist the other members of the application support group in regular operations as well as ongoing evaluation for system related process improvements and development solutions to meet end user's needs
Analyze the interfaces and integration points
Setup and change configurations within the Oracle Finance Modules
Work closely with Business users on process improvements and changes
Work closely with external support / consulting companies on incident management, requirement management and change management services
Document as-is and to-be business processes, configuration scripts and other associated functional/technical specifications
Root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills are important
Experience in analyzing data and translating business requirements into technical specifications
Manage Finance, IT projects and provide timely deliverablesRequirements:
Bachelors or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent education and experience
Experience of 3+ years as an IT Technical/Functional Analyst
Experience with Oracle R12 Finance related modules
Experience in SQL and familiar with the database structures in Finance
Experience in the languages of; PL/SQL, OAF, Java/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML
Experience in the technologies of; Oracle Apps EBS, OAF, Web ADI, Web Services, JSP, Core Java
Experience in the software tools of; JDeveloper, Putty, GitLab, JIRA, PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL Developer
Strong Project Management Skills, PMP Certification is preferred
Knowledge of Reporting, Power BI, BI Publisher, OBIEE, RPA, and automation technologies is preferred
Good analytical skills in solving technical issues
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross functional teams
Experience in working effectively with people, across multiple levels, multiple cultures, and time zones
Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience in creating functional / technical documentation
Good self-management and coordination skills
Good communicator and presentation skills
