We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT assets using Device42, ensuring efficient utilization, compliance, and lifecycle management. This role requires a strong understanding of IT asset management principles, excellent organizational skills, and experience with Device42 or similar ITAM tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement, using Device42.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT asset inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Device42 by regularly updating and verifying asset information.
- Generate and analyze reports on asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status. Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement best practices for IT asset management, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to coordinate asset-related activities and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on Device42 and IT asset management processes.
Experience:- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT asset management or a related field.
- Good knowledge in Open system operating system and TCPIP related protocols like SSH,SFTP,WMI SNMP
- Experience with Device42 or similar ITAM tools is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using ITAM tools, specifically Device42.
