This role will be to act as an all encompassing IT Data/Business Analyst to support the business as well as its users in harnessing the power of internal and external data for commercial decision-making and operational excellence within the company.
This role is looking for an exceptional candidate to join this exclusive team but coming from a solid Commodities or Financial background to understand quickly Commercial requirements that would benefit the business throughout.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced provision of Support and troubleshooting for users from a technical and functional perspective
- Assist users in setup and utilization of the data platform and maximise understanding of datasets made for decision making.
- Analysing data with tools, such as DataBricks, SQL, Python
- Act as a Data Steward, ensuring data governance and access control.
- Conduct Business Analysis for small changes and projects, collaborating closely with users and IT teams.
- Drive Agile delivery as a Product Owner, from concept through testing and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a numerate subject or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role in finance or commodities trading.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Azure Databricks.
- Have prior experience in Data governance/data steward
- Strong Analytical skills with attention to detail and methodical approach.
