We are seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic and growing Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will be part of a regional team responsible for managing a critical Regional Payment System that processes domestic payments for corporate customers across the region. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely and quality delivery of system solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to elicit, review, and analyze business requirements for the payment system.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements between different systems, identifying dependencies and potential impacts.
- Analyze and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business needs.
- Monitor and manage risks and issues related to requirements, preventing scope creep.
- Collaborate with offshore test teams to translate requirements into test scenarios and cases, and validate test results before production rollout.
- Clarify and classify test findings, identifying defects and change requests, and work to resolve issues.
- Liaise with vendors and relevant teams to investigate issues, determine root causes, and implement workarounds and fixes.
- Manage defects and change requests, prioritize them with business units, and plan fixes or implementations.
- Provide Level 3 production incident analysis, resolve user queries, and handle change requests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and documentation of application features and processes, acting as a subject matter expert.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience with a focus on Payments implementations, with expertise in business analysis methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong domain knowledge of Asia-Pacific payment systems (e.g., RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of the ISO20022 payment standard and SWIFT messaging.
- Experience with Bancs Payments products is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management principles and change management processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, and IBM WAS is a plus.
