Responsibilities
Sr. Infrastructure Architect to support Software Transformation and accelerate Keysight's journey to Software as a Service offerings.
This role is responsible for the strategic vision of Keysight's Software Transformation. Responsibilities include defining the resilient and secure cloud (GCP, Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) architecture, technical requirements, implementation, and operational considerations for Keysight products to be offered as software-as-a-service to customers. This role is also responsible for working closely and providing technical guidance to the R&D and engineering teams.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Participate (and influence) in discussions about cloud and server architecture, resiliency, and solutions that contribute to well-architected and successful product (software) designs focused on scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
- Provide expert level guidance to product (R&D) teams on key cloud and server design decisions, cost optimization, and vendor agnostic solutions.
- Work alongside architects and engineering teams to design and implement scalable services.
- Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines for IT support team members.
- Guide cloud team to well-architected framework to support Service Level Objectives (SLO)
- Proactively identify areas of improvement through observability, recommend and integrate process and architecture improvements.
- Help migrate existing workflows from on-prem to cloud by building appropriate solutions.
- Ensure the highest level of up-time and Quality of Service (QoS) to internal customers through operational excellence.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement in cloud/server infrastructure and influence various teams to work together.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience driving cloud strategy, design and implementation of applications at scale.
- 5 or more years of experience demonstrating expert level knowledge of Cloud architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless, API first and API gateways, service mesh, stateless design).
- Ability to design and build scalable services on one of the major CSP - GCP, Oracle Cloud, AWS and Azure.
- Expertise in Linux and/or Windows server administration
- Proficient in Identity, Security Architecture, Config management, Security and Network Security.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud architect certifications
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Experience with AI infrastructure, whether in Cloud or on-prem
- HPC Experience
- Fundamental understanding of networking and security in Cloud environments (API gateways, firewalls, routing, and security policies)
- Knowledge of scalability and performance optimizations for Cloud software
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with serverless computing technology.
- Fundamental knowledge of database systems (relational and object stores), including scaling, sharing and replication.
- Deep understanding of monitoring and logging in Cloud environments including retention and cost optimization strategies
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts and practices.
- Ability to create high-quality documentation about architectural decisions, design rationale and implementation guidelines.
