Responsibility

. Responsible for the smooth functioning of the IT department and its operations, advise program developers for both front and back of house usage, coordinate and establish hardware maintenance programs and to establish procedures in case of system interruptions ensure security of data storage and protection and training of user equipment.
. To ensure that any preventive maintenance required by any IT equipment in the hotel is carried out on scheduled time, establish a maintenance checklist of all IT equipment installed in the hotel and ensure that a properly controlled physical environment is created to accommodate all the hardware required by all systems
. To follow through the timely repair and return to service of any faulty systems or items of equipment
. Be required to work at irregular hours and ready/available on call basis in case of minor system failures and emergencies
. To establish procedures to ensure the backup of data in any IT system ensure that all system users are properly trained on such backup procedures and monitor compliance for the same
. To design and develop any application software for specific user department requirement, including software support and maintenance
