IT Manager

Job Objective/s

Overall management of technical operations, including management of a diverse team of skilled IT professionals. Striving to reach several relevant business targets and reporting progress to Management. Managing effective security measures to minimise risks to security

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
• Lead the team to develop internal ERP system.
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
• Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
• Coordinate IT staff and other professionals to provide guidance
• Control budget and report on expenditure
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

Qualification Guidelines

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT

Minimum Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience with IT Management background.

Specific Knowledge / Skills

Proven experience as IT Manager or similar role

Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

Must have manufacturing background / experience

Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.

Very knowledgable with ERP/MES system implementation

Knowledgable with MES and Odoo systems

Experience in controlling information technology budget

Good organizational and leadership skills

Good communication abilities
