THE OPPORTUNITY
The Assistant IT Manager/IT Manager works with the Back Office HR & IT team to support and ensure the efficient and effective daily office operations, smooth internal workflow, and coordination of processes.
THE WORK
IT & Network Responsibilities (50%)
Provide basic day-to-day user and desktop support to employees in Singapore office.
Provide user IT onboarding including account creation and setup, allocation and deployment of laptops, basic user training.
Liaise with local IT vendor (external) and remote Group IT (internal) teams to evaluate or troubleshoot IT issues.
Work with HQ IT teams and various stakeholders on implementation, upgrades, and transformation projects.
Manage the general maintenance and upkeep of IT tools and equipment (hardware and software) including computers, accessories, AV, and printers.
Update IT inventory records & suport with IT procurement.
Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
Implement and execute network security measures.
Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
Maintenance of office biometrics and relevant reports.
Management & point of contact of Accelo PM work platform
Project Management System Responsibilities Accelo (50%)
Managing, provisioning, configuring, and maintaining the underlying platform.
Continuous Identifying, monitoring and improvising of platform performance.
Attending and responding to incidents, outages, or other disruptions in platform service.
Providing support to users or customers experiencing issues with the platform
Offering training sessions or documentation to help users effectively utilize the platforms features.
Managing user accounts and permissions as needed
Engaging with platform vendors or service providers to address issues or request assistance.
Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Evaluating new vendor solutions or upgrades to existing platforms
Technology Innovation
Developing a technology innovation strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Identifying emerging technologies and trends relevant to the organization's industry and market.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders across departments (AMC and Corporate) to gather input and support for innovation initiatives.
Reviewing and refining the organization's technology innovation strategy based on feedback and results.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization in innovation processes.
THE CONNECTION
Reporting to Director, Corporate and IT Project Manager, the Assistant IT Manager/IT Manager works closely with the back-office team and is the first point of contact for employees regarding general IT and office facilities matters.
THE MUST HAVE
Fluent in English. Proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
Well-versed in computer systems.
Familiar with Windows 365 and project management software.
THE GOOD TO HAVE
IT Diploma/Degree qualification
5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with project management is advantageous.
A multitasker, organised, prioritise work independently as well as in a team.
Demonstrate a customer service mindset with a proactive disposition.
Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
