Are you a seasoned IT Project Manager passionate about leading transformative digital initiatives Join us as an IT Project Director, where you will lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle of greenfield technology projects from conceptualisation and solution design to implementation and deployment. Working closely with process owners, subject matter experts, and technical teams, you will ensure successful project delivery that drives impactful changes across Certis.
Responsibilities we will trust you with:
- Lead the implementation of an appropriate project management methodology, standards, and tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure the PMO meets performance targets to align with the organisation's strategic objectives and adhere to best practices.
- Manage risks and collaborate with other leaders to take corrective action as needed.
- Implement effective governance processes for the acceptance of projects based on sound business cases.
- Provide key internal stakeholders with the information needed to assess which proposals have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment.
- Interface with key internal stakeholders to define project priorities, implementation opportunities, and challenges, and keep them updated on project risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project KPIs, monitor performance against standards, and take timely corrective actions.
- Review project schedule, quality, and cost deliverables.
- Regularly monitor and report on project performance and progress to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate documentation and administration across the Programme Management Office.
- Lead, guide, and support direct reports by setting expectations, managing performance, and supporting development.
- Provide technical consultation on system development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.).
- Ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly.
- Manage the programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business partnering, with strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement acumen, vendor management skills, and delivery services.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing outsourced IT infrastructure and application development operations.
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
- Experience with cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience in managing multi-cultural and multi-geographical teams.
- Experience with an extensive range of IT operating systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage relationships in a matrix environment.
