We are representing our IT Solutions provider client in looking for the following.
Project Manager 1 year contract
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT projects from tender award through to delivery and maintenance, ensuring adherence to time, quality, and budget constraints.
- Develop a comprehensive project execution plan, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for both the team and customers.
- Manage all phases of project development, including planning, task assignment, and progress tracking.
- Create detailed project documentation, outlining specifications, and design, while implementing systems based on gathered requirements.
- Foster strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Follow industry-standard Project Management methodologies and maintain thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with customers to analyze their requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Conduct presales demonstrations and presentations on-site with customers.
- Provide technical expertise in the preparation of tenders and proposals.
- Assist in creating sales kits to support the sales team.
- Supervise the setup and maintenance of demo sites and systems from the ground up.
Requirements
- Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on experience in project execution.
- Recent experience in Vendor and Contract Management, Change Management, Service Request Management, and Problem/Incident Management.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of adopting a broad, strategic perspective while also delving into detailed business needs and challenges.
- Results-driven and customer-focused.
- Relevant experience in supporting government projects.
- Experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and scope.
- Proven track record in supporting application operations.
- PM certifications, SCRUM master certification, or practical experience with Agile methodologies, tools, and delivery.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex or government projects from initiation to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget.
