Overview:
Manage full project delivery life cycle for IT and engineering projects, covering contract negotiations, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement. Ensure quality, cost-effective services, and maintain technical and service relationships with customers.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years in managing large-scale IT and engineering projects with cross-functional teams
- Preferred Knowledge: Government security standards and professional certification (PMP, CITPM, CISSP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex IT/engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
- Define project objectives, deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and timelines, clearly communicating to the team and clients
- Manage budgets and costs to maximize revenue and margins
- Develop risk management plans, proactively addressing and mitigating potential issues
- Lead change management with impact analysis and contingency planning
- Build and lead a high-performance team, providing guidance and leadership
- Maintain proactive relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly
- Support pre-sales and collaborate with solution teams to develop RFPs
Skills Required:
- Experience with large-scale, multi-vendor systems in IT and engineering
- Strong project and financial management skills, client relations, and service delivery
- Proven record of managing multi-million dollar projects in government or commercial sectors
- Hands-on approach with excellent presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Effective team leadership, motivation, and staff development
