Responsibilities
Perform security vulnerability and baseline scanning of on-premise and cloud workloads
Work closely with infrastructure, cloud and security specialists to harden on-premise systems and cloud-native workloads
Test and roll out security patches to on-premise systems and cloud-native workloads
Hands-on implementation to onboard log sources to IBM QRadar Security Incident and Events Management System (SIEM)
Manage hybrid identities on Azure and on-premise Active Directory systems
Review network infrastructure and support network security hardening
Deploy cloud native security on Microsoft 365 infrastructure
Support cloud proxy and network access control deployments
Support IT asset inventory completeness review and stock take
Support identity and access management and access reviews
Support roll out of endpoint management systems, such as JAMF and Intune
Working, liaising, and collaborating with our security vendor/partners.
Requirements
Strong passion in technology and willingness to learn and develop skillset in IT infrastructure and technology
Strong technical background or experience in at least one of the following domains would be advantageous: network, firewall, routing, Active Directory, SIEM, Azure, AWS, M365, access management, Cisco technologies, Tenable Nessus, Intune, JAMF
Candidates undergoing relevant courses or have previous experience working on areas above will be considered
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail
Good command of written and spoken English
Programming skills will be viewed favorably, e.g. Powershell, bash, Python, etc.
