Job Description

  • Provide 1st level on-site support for end-user operations, troubleshooting complex technical issues in a fast-paced business environment, and offering 24x7 on-call support as needed.
  • Administer, support, and maintain VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon VDI environments, including daily tasks like upgrades, patches, security configurations, and fine-tuning performance.
  • Assess risks related to virtual machines and VMware environments, perform contingency planning, and recommend related hardware, software, and services to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with external parties for problem resolution, maintain technical documentation, and create regular maintenance and incident reports to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Lead post-delivery support for client applications (e.g., Workspace ONE, Zimperium, OnTalk), manage inventory, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and special projects as required.

The Successful Applicant


  • Minimum 2 years of working experiences supporting enterprise desktop environment and good technical expertise in VMWare VSphere and VMWare Horizon VDI.
  • Hands-on with technology and a strong interest in exploring new technologies, with expertise in VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon VDI.
  • Exceptional customer focus, professional acumen, strong communication skills, and experience in managing vendor relationships, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
  • Skilled in ITIL practices, quality escalation management, exception handling, and ensuring SLA compliance, while also managing costs and contract renewals.
  • A reliable team player with a proactive attitude, capable of working independently, and experienced in supporting enterprise virtualized environments, with knowledge of Windows, Linux, and backup/recovery applications.
