To support the bank in planning and coordination for Regional Disaster Recovery Exercises for Singapore and Subsidiaries
Responsibilities
Job scope involves working with various IT partners (computer operations, system administrators, job schedulers, production support teams) and coordination with Business users during Disaster Recovery exercise.
Lead and co-ordinate all the planning of all DR activities with key stakeholders (Application, Infra, Security and Business Users)
Responsible for ITDR execution with key stakeholders
Assess DR operational readiness to onboard new applications implemented.
Periodic status reporting of issues and risks, highlight key areas of concern.
Escalate Risks for management attention on issues which affect the scope of DR, schedule and quality.
Conduct DR readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Post exercise reviews
Facilitate regular pre-DR progress reviews and signoff. Continually work towards making improvement in the DR process
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Computer, information technology or related discipline
8-10 years of IT experience, preferably in financial industry ; experience in software development, production support or Infrastructure management with a track record of working in major projects; prior experience in IT Disaster recovery (exercises or real time events) preferred.
Good understanding of IT resiliency in terms of interfacing between different systems and the related processes ; candidate should be familiar about different application infra components (like AS400, Mainframe, Open systems, Network, Middleware) and worked in one (or) many of these systems.
Experience in managing Major projects or BCP/DR exercises with multiple stakeholders.
Detailed in tracking, reporting and Project management activities.
Able to work independently and able to handle pressure; need to be open to work long days and weekends as required.
The role involves ITDR planning and execution, hence need to be flexible to adjust personal schedules should there be a need to handle a real time DR situation.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
PMP, ITIL or related certifications preferred
