Java developer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and maintain a Monitoring Application to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical applications.
• Coordinate between multiple application teams for the implementation of monitoring systems and tools.
• Provide support for applications running on the OpenShift environment, ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues.
• Implement enhancements and perform bug fixes for existing applications written in Java, Python, and Shell scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for new application features and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance of monitoring solutions and the supported applications.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java programming (Required).
• Experience in Python scripting (Required).
• Knowledge of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana (Optional).
• Familiarity with Angular and Tapestry frameworks (Optional).
• Hands-on experience with JBoss, MariaDB, Filebeat, and Metricbeat (Optional).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and other container platforms (Optional).
• Expertise or practical knowledge of OpenShift and containerization platforms (Preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate with various teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools in a containerized environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
