Job Summary

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;
• At least 2-5 years of experience in software development using Java / Spring Boot and associated technologies;
• Must have experiencein the end to end software development life cycle (SDLC)along with documentation;
• Skilled in providing post-implementation support and conducting investigation and troubleshooting;
• Familiarity with JPA (Java Persistence API) and Hibernate;
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts;
• Hands-on SQL experience, preferably with MS SQL;
• Proficiency in using Git and understanding of Git workflow;
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams;
• Should have strong communication skills both written and spoken.

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to Jenkins for continuous integration;
• Familiarity with Kubernetes;

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintainand support custom-built software applications using Java / Spring Boot and associated technologies;
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation using Jira and Confluence to ensure clarity and maintainability of software solutions;
• Perform thorough unit testing on software deliverables and collaborate effectively during product test, integration test, and user acceptance test phases;
• Provide proactive post-implementation support, including investigating and troubleshooting issues as they arise;
• Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to contribute to various aspects of software development and maintenance;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines;
• Continuously improve software development processes and practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
