Project Description:
ITT (Investment Trading Technology) team supports T&M (Treasury and Markets) and is looking for the right candidate to support Murex 3.1 applications. Murex is one of the leading applications in the areas of global trading, risk management and trade processing and we using it cross asset classes, Front to Risk to Back in a setup with multiple production environments and grids, connections to many upstream and downstream systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop/Maintain CAB (Component Application Bridge) to support Scaling MUREX TRADING application in different infrastructure (VM/AWS/Kubernetes/Tanzu/Huawei Cloud)
Maintain/Develop External APIs for internal/external consumption
Maintain documentation and test coverage
Responsible for handling Release Management, raising Change Request and scheduling for the implementation of fixes and enhancements.
Root cause analysis, manage communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support team members.
Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines such as OSS, Sonar-scan and Twist-lock
Application Support, Deployment of Release, patches & fixes on Platform
Mandatory Skills Description:
4+ years of backend development experience
Experience in backend development in Spring Boot
Experience with relational databases such as MariaDB, Sybase
Experience with containerizing applications in docker/podman for cloud deployment
Experience with containerization platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Familiarity with cloud services, such as AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Understanding of networking principles and cluster management.
Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with various functional groups.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks as required by project demands.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Exposure to Distributed Coordination/Cache tools such as Hazelcast/Redis/ETCD/Zookeeper
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, ELK stack.
