Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance department with various accounting duties, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance documents.
- Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
