Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate best practices from development, platform and application testing, and process support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Oversee tool development, solution creation, integrated tool and platform testing, and enhance speed and productivity.
- Build, configure, and provide support for new development infrastructure and tools.
- Understand stakeholder requirements and effectively communicate them to the development team.
- Explore and implement new methods to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Review and test code written by others, analyzing the results for quality.
- Ensure systems are protected against cyberattacks and security threats.
- Identify technical issues and bugs, and develop software updates to resolve them.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure software is developed according to established processes and functions as expected.
- Plan and manage projects, contributing to project management activities.
- Actively participate in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives, including hazard/incident identification, risk assessments, and control measures.
- Ensure work activities and behaviors align with HSE policies, objectives, and procedures, and comply with relevant legal requirements.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the role.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in developing application systems, including database applications, Excel macros, web applications, Android mobile apps, IoT projects, Microsoft Office automation, and Microsoft Power BI development.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Quick to learn with a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
