Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Manage the distribution of documents and drawings to clients and subcontractors, ensuring that updated versions are issued and maintained.
- Preparation of Technical Documents: Prepare method statements and work procedures, ensuring that they align with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Progress Meetings: Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with subcontractors to update and monitor the progress of work, addressing any issues that arise.
- Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and complies with all relevant government and safety regulations.
- Drawing and Documentation Control: Oversee the management and control of drawings and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper filing.
- Resource Management: Manage the procurement of resources, monitor and control material usage on-site to prevent wastage, and ensure that materials are used correctly.
- Coordination and Liaison: Assist Senior Project Engineer in coordinating with consultants on change orders. Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to provide necessary supporting documents for these changes.
- Site Management: Organize labor, equipment, and materials for daily site activities, ensuring smooth operations.
- Material Inspection: Perform material receiving inspections and maintain accurate records of materials.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly progress reports, maintain inspection records, and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or a Degree in Construction Management from a recognized institution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience: Candidates with knowledge of structural and architectural trades are preferred.
