Junior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description: As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will need to assist in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You have to work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets.
• Conduct site visits and assessments.
• Measure and value the work done on-site.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
• Monitor and control project costs.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
