Scope of Work1) Contract / Sub Contract administration, preparation of progress claims, variation orders, verifying subcontractor / suppliers claims
2) Responsible for the full suite of M&E Quantity Surveyor duties, (Mainly Electrical Related currently) from tender to pre-contract, post contract administration duties such as: review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing and selecting of suppliers, particularly for M&E disciplines
3) Review variation request order; assess the associated variation costs; process of progress payment and final account
4) Work closely with the Project Team to provide costing advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction(Tender),construction (VO) and post construction stage (Final Account).
5) Prepare budget and cost control monitoring to ensure the project cost is within the allocated budget
6) Prepare and analyze cost comparison
7) Prepare, evaluate, and recommend on the award of suppliers/sub-constractors
8) Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to suppliers/sub-contractors
9) Price negotiation with sub-contractors and suppliers
1) Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience as an M&E QS.
2) Proficient technical knowledge - measurement, cost estimation, contracts and law
3) Proficiency and competency in a project QS function and can work independently
4) Sound knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
5) Possess excellent people skills with the ability to communicate with consultants, clients and vendors
