Junior/Senior AS400 RPGLE Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

To enhance Payment System (RPGLE/400 in IBM AS400);

• Analyze the user requirements or modifications/enhancement requests;

Document in detail the functional and technical specifications; including database design and data conversion

• Design the work unit, code the program, compile and perform the unit test;

Work with the bank users to produce a test plan for testing all functions of the new program modifications;

• Update all changes done to systems, programs, and operating instruction / Manuals;

Train users to use each function of the new or amended application;

• Advise users on operation and backup procedures so that users can develop or update the user manual.

Required skill (s) : RPGLE, C/C++

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related disciplines;

• Bachelor's or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Database design: 2 years (Preferred)

DB2/SQ: 2 years (Preferred)

• IBM AS400/ AS400 system: 2 years (Preferred)

IBM RPG/ RPG III: 2 years (Preferred)
