We are seeking a passionate, ambitious and talented Junior Chef to join our culinary team.
  • Job Description: As a Junior Chef at KC Dining, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen. You will have the opportunity to assist in creating exceptional Japanese Fusion Izakaya/Tapas dishes. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in the kitchen but also eager to learn and contribute to the development of new recipes. This will suit an ambitious individual who enjoys working in a team with ability to step up when required. As part of a small team you will be exposed to many aspects of kitchen life every day to learn more.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with kitchen staff and the culinary team in food preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Willingness to learn from others, to research and embrace continuous professional development.
  • Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure the consistent quality of our dishes.
Show initiative in assisting the creation of new recipes and innovative culinary ideas.
  • Contribute to the positive and collaborative kitchen environment that defines KC Dining; where every customer leaves with a smile.
  • Qualifications:
Graduation from a culinary program is preferred.
  • Preference for at least 2 years of experience if possible in a Japanese focus commercial kitchen.
Strong passion for Japanese cuisine and fusion cooking.
  • Excellent teamwork, multi-tasking under pressure and communication skills.
Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • A genuine passion for food and the culinary arts.
Required to pass an appropriate probation period.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,
  • 00 - $2,800.00 per month

Experience:
  • Japanese Kitchen: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
  • NRIC or LTPV (Required)
