We are hiring an LPG Trading Operator for a large commodities trading company, specifically within their energy trading division
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day cargo operations and shipping operations for LPG
- Handle sales and purchase contracts, L/C, and other cargo and trading documents
- Handle recover claims and demurrage from counterparties
- Liaise with buyers, sellers, shipping brokers, ship owners, terminal operators, joint venture partners etc to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimize demurrage costs.
- Check and update the operations data in the system for analysis and reporting.
- Make reporting of market information (vessel fixtures, etc) to assist in chartering and trading
- Support Risk Management Analyst
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Maritime study or any related field with 2 years of experience with an Oil & Gas company
- Able to work in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and IT-savvy to be able to use other software/platforms required for trading & operations
- Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player with good communication skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
