KDB Software Engineer

My client is a leading Asset Management firm in Singapore with an AUM of circa USD 500 Billion. As they expand their technological presence, they are actively looking to bring a KDB Engineer to work on the development of their state-of-the-art platforms...

You'll be working on:

• Develop robust, high performance, unit tested KDB solutions, both tactical and strategic.
• Work closely with Developers, Researchers and Data experts to architect their analytics platform
• Liaise with multiple business stakeholders across different asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income etc...)

Ideally, they're looking for someone with the following:

• 6+ years of experience using KDB/Q technologies within financial institutions (AVP / VP)
• Experience with real time infrastructure architecture / implementation in a Linux OR Unix environment.
• Practical experience working in a Front Office role on Electronic Trading platforms.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and test driven development (TDD).
• Any other OO i.e Java, Python OR C# is a bonus!
