Navigating the Position: Key Account Manager (APAC)In this exciting role, you'll be the go-to expert for key clients, ensuring their needs are not just met but exceeded. You'll keep everything on track, from deadlines to delivering exceptional service, all while helping to steer client success in the maritime industry.
As a key relationship builder, you'll strengthen connections with top stakeholders, spot new opportunities, and drive revenue growth through up-selling and cross-selling. Your Voyage Ahead:
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-lasting, trusting relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and strong partnerships.
Account Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of client needs and create strategic account plans that align with their goals and objectives.
Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and effective coordination.
Strategic Planning: Present account progress, spearheading initiatives to improve client outcomes and drive business growth.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, securing successful agreements with favorable terms for OTG.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, driving new revenue streams and enhancing profit margins.
Data Analysis: Leverage client data to inform relationship management and develop winning strategies.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve client issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Relationship Expansion: Proactively work to expand relationships with existing clients and secure new accounts for continued growth.
Recommended to bring on board:
Educational Background: University degree (or equivalent) in a technical or business-related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in account management or sales, preferably within the maritime industry. Experience in crewing, training, or QHSE departments is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the maritime industry and products.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze client data and develop strategic account plans.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
