Your role:
In this role, you will become a vital contributor to the sustainable growth of PPGs Marine Coatings business and team. Vessels and installations that go out to sea need the highest quality of coatings to improve their efficiency while protecting them from harsh (natural) elements. Protecting these assets while safeguarding a cleaner environment is our mission. With your strong industry knowledge and equipped with our advanced product solutions, you will become a valued advisor to support and guide key customers on how to utilize coating protection to achieve their strategic, sustainability and energy efficiency targets.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a strong network of customer relations across all levels of decision makers and influencers.
Ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
Plan and lead impactful technical and commercial presentations.
Prepare and execute Key Account plans and plan your Opportunity Pipeline in CRM.
Passionate to deliver excellent customer experience by identifying areas for improvement and being proactive in resolving customer complaints.
Plan and lead cross border meetings to have closely collaboration between the colleagues of ship owners and ship managers.
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the maritime industry.
Engineering, science, or business bachelor degree.
Resourceful and familiar with marine industry technical and finance terms.
Ability to deal and negotiate at all levels with key stakeholders.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in English and your local language.
Flexibility of business travel and conference call.
