Kurihara Kogyo Co., Ltd. is looking for a Electrical Project Engineer
In 1979, Kurihara Kogyo was given the opportunity to participate in the design of a petrochemical plant in Singapore. This endeavour led to the establishment of our Singapore office and signified the start of our electrical and instrumentation installation business.
Tasks
- Plan, execute, and oversee electrical engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Involve in technical discussion, progress meeting with client, M&E consultant and main or sub-contractors.
- Review project designs and electrical plans.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays.
- Prepare project schedule,reports and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure project quality and safety.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the project lifecycle.
- Project Costing and re-engineering to increase project profit margin, preparation of monthly progress claim and expenditure budget control.
- Leading Testing and Commissioning of project team and conduct training to customers after completion of project.
- Provide technical support to customers and site project team in the selection of equipment for the project.
- Support in acquiring new opportunities Tenders and Business Development
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Age: 25 to 30 years old
Experience: 3-4 years in electrical engineering or a related
fieldEducation: Diploma/ITE in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Candidates with a degree in the same industry. Fresh degree graduates can apply.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and project management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, responsible with positive attitude and able to work under pressure and stress.
- Successful candidate able to work after office hours depend on site/project schedule.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders)
