RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance Data Centre Operations, focusing on production stability, stakeholder experience, and service quality.
- Identify automation opportunities within production processes to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Timely escalation, communication, and resolution of major incidents, following the escalation matrix. Lead, drive, and facilitate investigation activities.
- Participate in troubleshooting system and network connectivity issues before escalation.
- Track production metrics and performance indicators to ensure operational targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in production.
- Perform other duties as instructed.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in computer science/ information technology/ engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience as a Level 1 Production Operations Engineer.
- Strong analytical skills for process improvement and optimization.
- Technical proficiency in production systems with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with Data Centre facilities, including temperature/humidity monitoring systems, smoke detection, fire suppression systems, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units, CCTV, keypress units, etc.
- Familiarity with AWS tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail is advantageous.
- Able to work shift duties.
