Lab Engineer

Metric Materials Analysis Pte. Ltd. is a young and dynamic company offering materials analysis and certification services to our customers.

We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial and meticulous individual to join us. He or she has to have good organisational and communication skills to perform well in this role.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be working in an air-conditioned, industrial laboratory environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain operation of laboratory as per ISO 17025.

2. Assist with SAC accreditation.

3. Oversee day to day operations such as carrying out and scheduling test, issue test reports, schedule calibration and maintenance of machines, etc.

4. Implement testing techniques and standard operating procedures in the laboratory.

5. Review and maintain lab risk assessment.

6. Plan testing capacities based on internal and external requirements, ensuring efficient lab operations.

Pre-requisites:

1. Candidates should possess at least a diploma/degree in Applied Science Engineering, Material Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in lab (rebar & steel testing). Those with experience in other tests will have an advantage.

3. Singaporeans or PR only.

Renumeration & Benefits:

1. Salary range from $3,500 to $4,000

2. 9:00am to 6:00pm

3. 5-day work week

4. Annual bonus & incentives.
