Lab Technician

Our company in Singapore - Huabao Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Lab Technician will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting sample pretreatments, performing GC-MS data analysis, and assisting in the creation and testing of compound flavors.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development. If you have a passion for learning and a keen interest in the science of flavors, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily maintenance of the GCMS to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards.
• Prepare samples for analysis and follow standardized protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Identify the properties of samples (e.g., alcohol base, oil base, PG base), inject them into the GC-MS equipment according to the corresponding method, and manage the analysis of comparison samples.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
• 3 years experiences in the flavor or food industry, familiarity with GC-MS instrumentation and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic about learning and applying new knowledge.
• Fluency in Mandarin.
