In this Role, youll get to
Provide linguistic expertise to support the development and continued improvement of an LLM which will be used to provide translate (from simplified Chinese into English) content that will be viewed by Trip.com customers and suppliers. Required support includes:
Selection of material to be fed into the LLM to help it learn
MTPE of the LLM's translation
Detailed scoring and commenting on the LLM's translations
Analysis of bad case translations
Provide linguistic expertise to support the development and continued improvement of an MTQE (machine translation quality estimation) system. Required support includes:
Building a database of midto-low quality translations which the MTQE can learn from
Performing spot-checks on the MTQE's results
Support Trip.com's in-house translators with translation/review tasks
What you'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree. Major in Linguistics or any related field is a plus.
At least two years of translation experience from Chinese to English
Strong analytical skills and e xperience in AI/computer programming is a plus
Experience working within the travel industry is an advantage
