Collect dirty linens and clothing from the wards twice a day with trolley assistance.
Separate and wash residents clothing, linens such as draw sheets, bed sheets, pillow cases and, patient care accessories separately using washing and dry machines in a laundry room.
Ensure optimization of each washing or drying cycle
Assist in daily operations, including folding, packing, dispatching of laundry
Maintain a clean environment in the washing area and keep laundry equipment in good condition.
Monitor stock level of laundry inventory and to provide stock report.
Any other laundry related duties.
Job Specification:
On-the-job training will be provided.
Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing job duties (e.g. Folding linens)
Candidate is comfortable to work in a space room with open doors and windows and electric fans
Ability to read basic English written instructions labelled on a laundry machine .(eg.start,temperature)
Hardworking and responsible with strong sense of pride and ownership of work.
Willingness to learn and pick up new skills (eg. operating washing machine, SOP etc)
6 days work week（7.30am-4.00pm)， 44 hours per week only
